"My father died a couple of weeks ago and I had the wonderful blessing of being able to speak at his funeral. I thought about all the wonderful things that I watched him accomplish in life. He had an incredible gift of “hard skills” like technology, architecture, engineering and finance. But what I thought about as I was talking to people when they came to the funeral home and different people came up and we talked for hours and everyone of them had a different story of how my father influenced their life.

Dateline London: Times Online Reports Business News"Amway, which had 39,000 selling agents in Britain during 2005-06, is “inherently objectionable”, operates as a lottery and is trading unlawfully, the Companies Court was told.
Mark Cunningham, QC, on behalf of John Hutton, the Secretary of State for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, told the court that the Government was seeking to wind up Amway in the public interest following an investigation into its business practices.
The allegations are seriously damaging to the international group, which claims to have a worldwide salesforce of more than three million people and a turnover of $6.4 billion (£3.2 billion).
The Government investigation claims to have revealed that just 10 per cent of Amway’s agents in Britain make any profit, with less than one in ten selling a single item of the group’s products.
It claims that Amway’s main activity is encouraging other people to join its salesforce so that they pay the registration fee and buy marketing materials..."

(November 9, 2007 Michigan) It is a good court day for TEAM, Woodward, Brady and other IBO’s named by Quixtar/Amway in its contempt lawsuit. Judge Sullivan says in his just issued opinion, "...the Court cannot conclude the TEAM has violated the injunctive order by competing with the plaintiff (Quixtar/Amway.)" The new court document says in its summary conclusions on page 9 of the finding… “After giving much thought and consideration to the evidence presented by the parties the Court finds that there is no basis to sanction the named defendants or TEAM for violations of the August 28, 2007 preliminary injunction...
...The Court firmly believes this contempt hearing was not based on frivolous accusations... the evidence was simply insufficient to establish that the members of TEAM who chose to violate the order were acting in concert with the named defendants. The testimony of the defendants and other high-ranking TEAM officials is that the named defendants were aware of the order and attempted to comply..."

O’Brien, explains in court documents, "Here we have a Plaintiff (Quixtar/Amway) thiat is so brash that Quixtar admits in its news release "Guerillas in the Midst" at its "Alticor Media Blog" that it is using this lawsuit against thirty private citizens as a mere tool in its ongoing battle against Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady."
